About The Therapist
Danielle Foran
LMHC, EDIT III
I enjoy working with people who are experiencing life transition (college, marriage, divorce, moving, job change, parenting, grief etc.). The fear of the unknown can be paralyzing and I have a passion for helping people problem solve and persevere.
My therapeutic foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I incorporate Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Mindfulness. I use these modalities to help people change their lives one thought at a time. By changing the way we think, and act, changes the way we feel, and that leads to better living. My specialization with Eating Disorders adds intuitive thinking, relapse prevention and recovery techniques to the mix.
My experiences have strengthened my resolve to want to impact people’s lives in a positive way. I have had the pleasure of counseling, supervising, and coaching people in many different roles for the past 18 years. I consider myself to be diverse and have the ability to interact with different populations effortlessly. I pride myself with having innate empathy towards people.
You are not alone. Years ago a counselor helped me to find my way. I decided to dedicate my career to passing on this gift to others. If you are feeling hopeless, helpless, or cornered in your current situation there is hope. Regardless of what you are going through, know there is always another way.
